My name is Leah Card and I am a mother of 2 beautiful children, a wife and a full time Elementary Librarian. I have been in the Library field for 13 years at Gouverneur Elementary School in Gouverneur, N.Y. I was a Library Assistant for 10 years and was then hired on as the Elementary Librarian for the past 3 years. I signed up for this course because I want to take part in learning new ways to help my students discover what the library is all about and also to help them find the same passion I have for reading, researching and discovering new ideas.
